Lab 6: Histogram and Dynamic Range

Low-key scene (all dark scene other than our white object)

A scene with a variety of tones

A high-key scene (white on white)

- In my histogram, most of the pixels in my high-key image fall more in the right side 

- There are no pixels in the high-key image that would not print with detail

- Most of the pixel in my low-key image fall in the left side

- There are pixels in the low-key image that would not print with detail

- In my varied tone image, most of the pixel in the histogram are in the left side

- There are no pixels in the varied tone image that would not print with detail

- I find that my camera does fine with properly exposing high key scene but has more trouble exposing properly in low key scene because the camera wasn't able to properly expose without clipping

- The histogram that shows the most dynamic range is the varied tone scene
